The alarm bells have been ringing in Poland, but Polish coach Michal Probierz has reassured fans that Lewandowski will be fit for the European Championship.
The Barcelona striker came off injured in the first half of the friendly against Turkey, after contributing to Swiderski’s opener, but he left the field in the 31st minute due to physical pain.
The situation is nothing to worry about, however, and the 35-year-old has been replaced as a precaution.
‘Lewandowski is suffering from a minor injury and should be able to take part in the European Championship,’ said coach Michal Probierz.
