The World Cup champion with Italy, in the aftermath of the victory against Albania, spoke about the individual talents of the team.
Scamacca is a good forward, he’s a physical beast,” he said after the game against Albania.

The Roma legend also absolved Dimarco for the mistake that led to Albania’s lead after just 23 seconds.

“It’s a joke, it’s impossible, are we starting over? That’s why I’m not a coach; a player who makes a mistake like that, I’d take him off immediately,” joked the World Cup champion during the event organized by Betsson Sport “Guardala Con Totti.”

“Dimarco has grown a lot this year, except for today (Saturday), but he recovered very well,” he highlighted.

The 2006 World Cup
Recalling one of the most significant moments of his career, the former Roma captain stated: “Lifting the World Cup is the dream every footballer has. After the last penalty, I still didn’t realize it; sometimes even today, I can’t believe it.”

The memory of the 2006 World Cup is still very vivid. When asked if any players from the current national team could have made it into the 2006 squad, Totti replied: “Chiesa and Barella would have been perfect.”
