Real Madrid, Spain’s top football club, held their final training session before facing AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. After a recent 4-0 loss to Barcelona in El Clásico, “Los Blancos” are aiming to redeem themselves and make a statement, especially as star forward Vinícius Júnior narrowly missed out on winning the Ballon d’Or.
The team benefitted from additional preparation time after their La Liga match with Valencia was postponed due to severe flooding in Spain. Meanwhile, AC Milan, experiencing a slow start to their season, look to challenge Real Madrid—a formidable opponent they haven’t defeated in the Champions League since 2009. Real Madrid holds a strong record, having won five of the last seven home matches against Milan.
Currently, Real Madrid stands 12th in their league, while Milan occupies the 25th spot in theirs, adding pressure to both teams as they approach this crucial clash.
