Manchester United is concerned about internal leaks

Manchester United have been grappling with an internal problem that has caused a stir in recent days: allegations that Alejandro Garnacho or Amad Diallo may have been involved in the early publication of the team’s line-ups. Despite this, both players have vehemently denied any involvement.

This situation has deeply angered the club, especially after the team line-up for the derby against Manchester City was revealed the day before the match. This caused irritation not only within the club, but also among key figures such as Ruben Amorim, the coach of the opposing team, who criticised the leak.

According to the Mail, the club considers it unlikely that Garnacho or Diallo were directly responsible. The most likely hypothesis, according to United, is that the source of the leak was someone in the player’s inner circle, such as an agent, friend or family member.

To prevent a recurrence, the club is working internally to resolve the problem. Measures taken include

Formal warnings to players to exercise caution when sharing confidential information.

Warnings about the risks involved in passing on information to people outside the professional environment, such as friends or agents.
