French full-back Théo Hernández was one of the key players in AC Milan’s victory, led by Sérgio Conceição, in their comeback against Inter in the Supercoppa Italy final. However, he did not forget his former coach.
“We also have our share of responsibility. Fonseca is no longer the coach of Milan, but I wish him the best”, said Théo Hernández to Sport Mediaset after scoring the first of the three goals for the Rossoneri.
“We played well, we knew they were a great team. It wasn’t an easy moment for me, and I’m not yet at 100%, but today I am happy. We had little time with Conceição, but we’re doing good work. I dedicate this victory to my wife, my son, and my daughter who’s about to be born”, he added.
Tammy Abraham, who scored the decisive goal in this Supercoppa victory, also praised the team: “We played with confidence, courage, and a lot of hunger. This Milan is a strong team.”
