According to ESPN, Al Nassr, managed by Luis Castro and featuring Cristiano Ronaldo and Otávio, is looking to further strengthen their attacking sector and has set their sights on Bruno Fernandes. The potential departure of the Portuguese midfielder from Old Trafford has been speculated before.
The Al Nassr management views Fernandes as an excellent addition, but they acknowledge that such a transfer would be very challenging to pull off. The Saudis are aware that Manchester United wants to retain the 29-year-old player, but they still believe there’s a chance if the offer is high enough.
Fernandes is not thriving at Manchester United and is considering his future at Old Trafford. He is under contract until 2026 with the Red Devils.
Signed in January 2020, Bruno Fernandes has emerged as one of Manchester United’s key figures and currently wears the captain’s armband. He has amassed 79 goals and 64 assists in 230 appearances.
