Arsenal’s transfer plans were partially revealed by coach Mikel Arteta this week. The Spaniard gave an extensive interview to CNN at the end of the 2023/24 season.
Arteta discussed his team’s second-place finish in the Premier League for the second consecutive season.
“We will go again. Every margin, in terms of the squad, the process we have at the club, our methodology, especially how we can make our players better, more competitive, more consistent, and get them to raise their level and be better than the previous season. I think our focus has to be on what we already have,” the coach began.
“How can we be better? There are margins, and there are players who can still develop and be better, and that is our goal,” he pointed out.
It should be noted that Cédric left the Gunners at the end of his contract, but the Londoners still have Fábio Vieira in their ranks after an unlucky season regarding injuries.
