Mason Greenwood, the forward for Olympique de Marseille, has decided to step away from his international career with England. Despite hopes of being called up to the national team, discussions with new coach Thomas Tuchel did not align with Greenwood’s expectations.
Switching allegiance to Jamaica:
According to The Star, Greenwood has now opted to represent Jamaica and will have the opportunity to compete in international tournaments for the CONCACAF nation. His next challenge will be the play-off for the 2025 Gold Cup, set to take place in March.
