Florentino Pérez, President of Real Madrid, attended the traditional Christmas cocktail party with the media and gave an update on the club’s current situation. He underlined his satisfaction with the club’s performance in another successful year.
“It’s been another historic year for Real Madrid. Five titles in soccer and three in basketball. It’s a golden age for the club, with 57 titles in 14 years”, said Florentino Pérez.
Santiago Bernabéu: a milestone in Madrid history
The president also stressed the importance of the Santiago Bernabéu modernization project. “The dream of madridism is a reality. The work is nearing completion and it will be an architectural landmark for the city of Madrid, the pride of Madridism”, said Pérez, celebrating the impact of the new stadium.
Solidarity with those affected by DANA
During the event, Florentino Pérez expressed his support for the victims of DANA (Isolated Atmospheric Depression). “This is a moment of solidarity and remembrance for those who need it most. We must continue to show solidarity with those affected by the hurricane, we must not forget. The Foundation is the soul of Real Madrid and that’s why I want to remember all the workers”, said the president.
