Super Bowl LIX set a record with 126 million viewers in the United States

Fox Sports announced the estimated figure on Monday, while the final number will be released by Nielsen on Tuesday.

The broadcast included viewers from Fox Sports, Fox Deportes, Telemundo, as well as streaming platforms like Tubi and various NFL services. Advertisers paid up to €7.8 million for a 30-second commercial during the game.

In 2023, CBS aired the Super Bowl between the Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers, reaching 123.7 million viewers.

Despite social media backlash and calls for a boycott due to the Chiefs’ third consecutive title, the data confirms that the event remains an unprecedented success.
